Child-Focused Therapy Brand & Website

Overview

For this project, I created a complete brand identity and website design for Peninsula Kids Play Therapy, a child-centred play therapy service dedicated to supporting emotional and developmental growth in young children and their families. Play therapy uses children’s natural language — play — as a safe and expressive way to build resilience, confidence, and emotional understanding. 

The goal was to design a warm, accessible, and reassuring visual experience that reflects the compassionate nature of the services and makes it easy for parents, families, and educators to understand how play therapy works.

The branding was crafted to feel friendly, supportive, and uplifting, appealing to both children and adults. Soft colours, playful graphic elements, and welcoming typography were selected to reflect:

Information about what play therapy is, how sessions work, and the qualifications of therapists are presented in an intuitive structure so visitors feel informed and supported from their first visit.

User Experience

To enhance usability, we focused on:

• Minimal visual clutter, creating a fun experience

• Straightforward content layout that explains therapy in a comforting way

• Clear service descriptions that help users understand benefits

• Action prompts for enquiries and registrations

This creates a user journey that feels both supportive and reassuring for families exploring therapeutic support for their child.

Outcome

Results

The final website and brand identity offer a friendly, human, and professional online presence for Peninsula Kids Play Therapy. The design supports the organisation’s mission by:

• Helping visitors quickly understand the purpose and value of play therapy

• Reflecting the caring nature of the therapists and their approach

• Presenting a visually calm and engaging experience for families
